This project was about creating a self-portrait related to our technology consumption.
I decided to create a stop motion that would indicate the level of consumption for each technological objects I possess: phone, iPad, computer, TV, camera, credit card.
Since it was a self portrait technomap, I decided to place my picture in the center of the stop motion to indicate that it was my own personal relationship to technology.
I then created different types of graphic lines that would have different aspects in order to define that each line represented one precise object.
During the stop motion, the lines grow progressively at a different height indicating which object I use every day, often, sometimes or rarely.
To clarify my purpose each time a line would reach its maximum height, a small png of the object would pop up at the top of the drawing.
