My habitat expands to the reaches of our immediate solar system because without the Sun there would be no life and without life there is no habitat. With this in mind my immediate habitat consists of the cities in which I reside, currently New York and Vancouver. This is because the daily tasks that I carry out require the resources brought in by the cities business and institutions. As almost everything I need can be found within these cities because they were designed to provide that function, as well as to bring communities together. Without these cities I am unable to define my habitat other than our solar system and the Earth which houses me. I would not be defined to any area, I would become a wanderer.
