I have visited the High Line before, but I never paid much attention to the surrounding area. I only observed what was in front of me. However, if you look beyond the park, one side overlooks the Hudson River, the other displays an above-ground view of Manhattan. My objective was to capture in fifteen minute intervals, over an hours time, a rainy afternoon (5:00 pm to 6:00 pm). The changes in the industrial streets versus the organic body of water. The contrast in the sky, clouds, sunlight, and how it varies due to the architecture, or lack thereof.
