MOOD BOARD
DESIGN+OUTCOME
From the Mood Board, I developed an idea of the contrast of GOOD&EVIL.
I have been thinking what is truly the border of good and bad, kind and evil. After all, it is merely a definition created by human beings–not so-called god, not our Creator, but us. Seems like an irony to me.
I started off with an idea of a ring or a mask, but eventually I combined them together as a purpose expressing the nature of ourselves is a cage, a shackle to lock ourselves. And for others: we have no right to judge.
The structure of the mask is a retorted smiling face, and along the connecting part of the ring and the mask is twisted “good” and “evil” writing backwards, illustrating that it is us who name the “blessed” and the “sinned” through our action affecting our appearance as a social animal.
