My taxonomy is based on the theme of “Class”. Back to the years after the British Great Depression (1929-1932), millions of people lost their jobs, the rate of unemployment raised rapidly. Plenty of wealthy families faced financial problem, therefore, their living conditions declined directly.

Back to this project, I found some connections between the British Great Depression and the American Great Depression. There are some keywords like” Unemployment”, “Money”, “Lower Class”, “Worker Class”, “Living Conditions” and “Repetitive Pattern of Walls and Wallpapers”. I listed all the images of my taxonomy and tired to develop and explore a deeper research and understanding of my topic. But I got stuck in the direction of “Unemployment” and “Economy”. Therefore, I switched my research to another direction, which is Wallpaper. I chose to develop my topic by researching the wallpapers of Victorian Era, the era before British Great Depression. Basically, focusing on the repetitive pattern of Victorian Era
