paper polyhedrons

I have made polyhedrons out of paper nets in the past and learned a lot regarding 3D from it.
From just observing the net, I would not think it is possible that it would turn into a 3D shape.
By constructing these paper polyhedrons I was able to grasp a further understanding of transforming 2D designs into 3D shapes.
A lot of geometric three dimensional shapes can resemble natural forms and have the potential to be useful in 3D art.
