ORTHOGRAPHIC PROJECTIONS

For this assignment I used chipboard and cardboard. I found that it was much easier to use chipboard because it is much thinner and folds better than cardboard especially during the scoring process. I also discovered that the outcome was much more clean. This increased my understanding of orthographic projections. I was able to envision the potential net of the 3D shape and be able to create it with a single or few pieces of material. I cut out tabs for each shape but unfortunately used (minimal) tape to hold the shapes in place. This was more necessary with cardboard because of the thickness of the material.
