After the presentation, I realized that I was misunderstanding about the project which was to have my own design that is just inspired by the artist. Therefore, I re-designed by garments.
Garments:
- hairband
- one-piece dress
- gloves
I first start to make pattern for the top part of dress(garment 1) and actually make the piece with muslin.

since I had not enough garment for arm part, I had to add some pieces to find perfect pattern.
I honestly didn’t have enough time due to sickness so that I couldn’t make a muslin piece for the bottom part of the dress. However, I had a clear design for the bottom part of the dress and hairband.
Then, I went to the Mood store to buy fabrics for my actual garments.
I cannot remember the exact fabric name, but it was sort of silk and chiffon.

This dress was the first garment I made with my design and fabric that I chose. Since it’s the first time, I had lots of challenging part throughout the process. However, up to that process, I feel like I am delighted with my work so far because it came out successfully as what I was planning. Also for the dress, I used two fabrics (silk and chiffon) which has two layers. I also had some difficulties with this part, but I eventually figured it out and tried my best. I also learned that it is different to make a garment with actual fabrics compare to making with muslin.
