When we were tasked with creating a structure out of 100 pieces without using glue or tape, I knew that this would be a challenging project.
After squaring my paper, I drew a grid lightly in order to have a guide line. Once I was done, I realized now much harder a diamond/rhombus would be to bring the structure together, so I opted for triangle and cut the shapes in half. Connecting the pieces was fairly easy, but I kept struggling with scoring on the right side.
The final product utilities a base where the bottom of triangles touch, and all the triangle pieces emerge from the sculpture.
