This was an assignment for a class called 3D modeling techniques. We were asked to make a wall relief. The process involved learning how to make technical drawings. We were to make one geometric pattern within within a square, and then were to add elevation to the pattern. The process involved learning how to make technical drawings. We were then required to use foam core boards make our elevated pattern four times, cutting out the edges perfectly, and securing the sides together with pins. We were then asked to arrange the four identical pieces in a way that created movement as a wall relief. My specific pattern was quite difficult to construct because of the many tight and awkward angles, but after many hours and many adjustments, the piece was complete.
