Last week I was telling David about two advertising pieces that I really like and think are good example of what we’re looking for. One of the pieces I could not get the informations for this class, but already got in touch with the Brazilian ad agency that envisioned the piece. With some luck I might have the infos for next week.
The piece that I have the infos for is really interesting. It was a campaign for HBO back in 2007, the idea for the campaign was to strength the brand image among their “super-fans”. BBDO created a piece in which HBO would display (and enhance) its atribute as the ultimate broadcaster and story teller.
Let’s take a look:
The screening on the building event happened one time, gathered around 3200 people. While the on-line version of the ad got more then 1 million unique visitors.
