I am a first year MFA Design and Technology Student and my background is in Urban Planning with a specialization in Urban Design. I also have great interest in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I decided to take Public Interactives because I am very inspired by the works of Studio Roosegaarde, Rockwell Group, and the Dancing Traffic Light to create interactive public spaces. I still like designing cities but I am eager to learn about the mechanics of making public spaces interactive for people and much more in this class. I want to be the one that not only contributes coming up ideas, but able to follow through and build prototypes myself.
