POST ONE: JAN 30 (IN CLASS)

I selected three images that are by artists I look at for inspiration since my style of photography is similar to these. The third photograph is of Rihanna, taken for i-D Magazine and I chose it because it’s one of my favorite photoshoots for i-D and especially the front cover. The second photograph is by Harley Weir, her photographs have a color palette that I admire and I think is aesthetically similar to my work. The first image is of Kendall and Kylie Jenner by Moises Arias. He is a photographer that has pushed my work to become an every day experience.

A lot of my work is in black and white but when it’s in color the palette is similar to Harley Weir’s and has warm and dark with light shadows on the subject. Black and white is an important aesthetic in my work and exists to explore memory of the moments that have been photographed.
