I tried to study how the towel rippled and stood elevated from the flat surface it laid on. In the drawing, I wanted to make it as though the towel and the paper were two totally separate things, by making drop shadows on the outside of the towel.

Although unfinished, the concept of foreshortened figure in perspective is being studied. I took the most time getting the right leg/calf and the left arm down because they are the most prominent features that I could see and they are also the most important features to understand the scale and foreshortened aspect.
