A field trip to the cemetery

Last weekend I visited Greenwood Cemetery.  The nature and the architecture were both very inspiring. NYC cemeteries are strange places.  They’re a mix of old and new, dead and alive, nature and metropolitan. I found some frightened gargoyles to hang out with for a bit.  Many photos were taken of design motifs on the mausoleums and family plots.  Hopefully some of these elements might work their way into the project. I also caught a glimpse of the wild parrots that live there.
