Union Square Documentary

Some of the points mentioned in the documentary that we saw in class were prevalent in Union Square. There were some performers playing music for people passing by to enjoy. There was also a lot of open space for a variety of people to walk through; the steps were low and wide and moms with strollers or handicap people could utilize the ramp if they needed to.  There was also a lot of garbages and sustainable trash compactors. Moreover, you could easily figure out that you are in Union Square based on the huge signs, eye-catching statue in the front, and the subway stations surrounding every corner. Moreover, there was a huge section for people to shop at a farmer’s market. However, the down-side were vans that were coming into Union Square had to carefully pull in because of the many people walking. Union Square is perfect for families because of the benches everywhere and the small playground for kids to enjoy.
