For my Final Drawing and Imaging project I decided to create a collage based off of the work of Stuart Davis. This was done primarily in the bold use of color and the contrast between it and the way that the shapes are constructed. For my own piece I decided to take some inspiration from my own life. I created the center shape based off a penne pasta piece, this is because pasta is my favorite food that my family and friends closely associate with me. The letters in the piece (K+T) represent my mother and father Kendra and Tom. The areas and the flow outward are to represent the change in my life to go out and expand from my original small town.
