Cinematography

Cinemagraph-Final-2

The cinematograph is taken from the part of the movie scene called “Inception”. This cinematography is inspired by a reading called “Why we feel slow motion during crisis”. According to the reading, the time we feel is actually longer than the amount of time it actually happens. Furthermore, the time seems to speed up as we grow older because we have seen it before and rememberĀ it in shorter memory. This cinematography shows a man showing explosion behind the buildings through the window. The view from the window is the part that is moving, and the man is standing inside of the building is the part that is not moving.

As the cinematograph shows, the explosion seems like it lasted longer than we feel. The continuous action of explosion makes us to feel longer than the actual length. The explosion is a type of danger that brings terrible effects to the area, people who had experienced the explosion will feel it in slow motion. Even though there is no sound effects on this cinematograph, the sound also makes people to experience it in slow motion because they record that memory by capturing the sound and visuals. Additionally, the viewers did not physically experienced the explosion but we still remember it in longer amount of time compared to the children because we already remember the explosions from the movies and tv shows.
