Lecture Two

I find Laurel’s perspective on technology interesting from the reading, it is always exciting to how people from different field see the same topic, in this case from the theater point of view. When B. Laurel mentions Donald Normans analysis ¬†on how interfaces should concern themselves with whole actions with multiple agents. Norman founded the institute of Cognitive psychology in the University of San Diego. He also was responsible for the concept of Direct Manipulation. There is a significant correlation between designing with psychology and the consumers behavior. This especially stood out to me.
