Bridge One Artist Statement

I decided to use ink and color pencil on bristol for this assignment. I feel like the thought process I was going through was scattered and rough like the images I decided to go with. They are also pretty small in size because I felt they are personal.

My first piece being the blue square with a smaller yellow square. I thought about how i felt that day. Its was cold, it was rainy but I was having a great day.

My  second piece was the egg plant and orange and I decided to depict confusion and curiosity together.

My third piece demonstrates how I had a busy day and was feeling over whelmed. I drew my anxiety of having to be at a new job and being frustrated.

My fourth piece shows how the letters N and M are missing from my work keyboard and how they faded off.

Lastly a red square with a pink circle within it because cancer is hurting a person who i love a lot. When I close my eyes I imagine this pink cancer cell surrounded by anger.
