This hat aims to reduce PTSD in children. It is made to be an accessory that children (4+) can want to have on them at all times. All these accessories come with some type of activity and headphones hooked up via Bluetooth to play when sirens go off. They will also be made in shades of light blue with accents of pale neutrals because research has shown to be calming colors.
The hat pictured above features a picture book, which parents can record a story to play from the headphones during this time instead of just calming music, the Hebrew, Arabic, and English alphabets. It also features bendable petals as the brim acting as both another activity and a fun way for children to be protected from the sun while still laughing at the weird shapes.
