We had to choose two different contrasting locations in NYC, the two places that I chose to observe were Stuyvestant Park and Union Square Park at an intersection. We had to visit each site and give at least an hour to each site or more. While, we were there we had to observe and analyze the changes in relationship between time and distance. We had a choice of 3 methods in order for us to record our findings, photography; drawing/ mapping; text singular words on 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper.
I went to both locations documented what I saw and while I was writing what I saw I kept in mind all of the obvious movements and the abstract. In both locations I recorded my emotions and the people around me.
