The organization that I ave decided to volunteer for is The Superhero Clubhouse , I was interested in volunteering for this organization because the concept of a theatre and bringing awareness of the growing changes, and discoveries of the environment all in one sounds new to me. I have watched several of their clips from the site and all of the actors/ actresses do such a great job during their performance. Superhero Clubhouse performs, “Eco- Theater” styled plays. Their approach is to create content that relates to the production,  and process of the environment. Some of their projects include, The Planet Plays which incorporates the nine planets,  and Big Green Theater works with students in the 5th grade to bring awareness to environmental plays through script writing to name a few.

I am someone who is an introvert so being in an element that allows you to step out of your comfort zone as well as being passionate about a cause is a great oppurtunity. I am very excited to begin to document this experience through interviews, video, and possibly being hands on with The Superhero Clubhouse team!
