To explain the importance and meaning of iconography in our culture in the United States, I created a guide-book for aliens from outer space explaining where icons came from and how they are commonly used in an urban area like New York City. The book gives examples and explanations of icons they may need to understand when they come to New York and acts as a sort of helpful pamphlet for those who do not understand icons.
