Shooting with black and white film gives me the chance to be choosey about the moments and people I capture. Perhaps it is the nostalgia that is tied to the black and white filter, or maybe it’s because I always am stocked with colored film and rarely get black and white film.

These photos were taken in a special place in Bosnia; they were taken in the town of Tuzla, the place where I spent a third of my childhood growing up.
