(I can’t see the process after I closed it but I will explain it below)

I took the video in Time Square’s McDonald and edited it myself.

I wanted to emphasis on the changing media and other electrical things in our lives because they annoy me a lot. They are polluting people’s brains, eyes and ears with meaningless commercial informations. Thank you for supporting consumerism this much!

In photoshop, I first edited the light and contract color first to create the sense not too much colors. Following what we did during class I used the lasso tool to circle the area that I want it to move. I then clicked the icon “white rectangular with a black circle in the middle” to make the still part of my gif shown on the rest layers. To make it faster and smoother, I change the time between each layer to be “no delay” and had a preview. I also changed twice the “forever” button at this scene and the preview scene to make sure that my gif would continue going.

I found it very hard to use the lasso tool because the color doesn’t always match! I mean, here, the color of the road and the grey window frame. It is not obvious at all but I would really watch out for these details next time.

Here’s two gif I made during the practice period in class.
