Critical Studio: Culture Explore

The pictures here are about Buddhism in Japan around the Kamakura period. From left to right, there is a bottom of a buddha’s sculpture, the article of Buddhism that passed to Japan in the early stage written in pure Chinese, a painting of monk warriors, the certificate of being a monk warrior, and three temple in different architecture styles. There are tons of interesting stories about Buddha or the monks and stories between monks and the governors. But I will change my topic to something more about aesthetic and art and also something I can understand from my background because there are many comments and evaluations of these buddha artworks that was written in Japanese.
