Above is the set for typical poetry structure of Tang dynasty. It all goes from right to left and up to down. It always has a signature and a stamp of the poet on a corner (normally on the left but it really depends on the mood of the poet or is he or she drunk or not.) The first one is showing the content of Tang poems started to talk about sightseeings more because people in Tang dynasty lived pretty good in general so they don’t need to worry too much about getting a job in the bureaucracy system to make a living.

These are the set inspired by the first women emperor that ruled for years. It not only represent a powerful and intelligent women but also a period of time that women can actually be a part of the bureaucracy system and go to school. Because all through ancient China history, women were born to raise children and take care of the house and the old and kids. Also, if a family didn’t have any boys to pass the fortune and fame to, the parents can pass everything down to a girl. Didn’t mention the “right” for women to divorce men.

Here is three works of mine to depict the tolerance and diversity of Tang Dynasty. There were all different kinds of material for books, paper, bamboo, and silk. It represent that all levels of people can have a opportunity to study if they can purchase a book. Languages from other countries started to enter China. Religions as well. The idea of unification and how Confucius, Daoism and Buddhism learned from each other and build suitable “new” idea from local people.

This is the set of “Li” family name. This is family was governing the enormous land for 300 years!

Last but not least, this seri is about women body shape. So before or after Tang, the emperors always prefer slim women. But Tang dynasty is the only dynasty that only want women in a slightly larger size with big boobs and butt. It changed art and dressing code as well.
