Drawing and Imaging: Building Block Variations-City Dreams, Photoshop (Updated Version)

Hi Everyone,

If you were able to catch a glimpse of the previous post concerning this, you will be able to tell a difference in the building block variations in this post and in the former one. Anyways…after the critique, for my first variation with the asteroid building blocks; it was suggested that I add more building blocks in the actual creation without the asteroid texture of varying sizes and that I should play with their opacity. In the second creation with Jupiter in the desert, I was informed of a line crossing through the work that should be erased. For the third, it was requested that my building block arches be of a differing color from the cityscape below to make it stand out. Lastly, in my final underwater creation; people agreed that it would look better if I removed the stroke and darkened the texture of my building blocks. Without further due, here they are!

Hello, My name is Megan Taylor, I am a returning student here at Parsons; my major is Fashion Design with a peaking interest in environmentalism and animal welfare; I hope to transform the industry someday...slowly but surely. My wish is to combine luxury and aesthetic appeal with the consciousness of how and where it is made along with the idea of what to do with it after use. I have been following my need to create and share with the world art and fashion since the tender age of eleven years old.
