Stills from “Parfum”

These images are stills from a short film my group members and I made for my “Fake” studio class. This project was supposed to be inspired by the French New Wave film “Breathless”, which we watched in class. Our group extracted film making decisions such as jump cuts, a black and white aesthetic and french music from the film we watched in class, and used it to tell the story of a bum who hates the way he smells and finds a companion that helps him smell better.
