The Practice on Walking
Walking is the most basic mode of “transportation”. However, something that is so
fundamental and simple is actual a complication. We are given birth as an infant, later grown into
a toddler, ready to learn how to walk. The idea of walking has always been our average regular
pace of motion. It is something that should be casual, that should be something of second nature.
Of course, walking is more than just “walking”. Everyone has their own modes of walking, it
might be in a faster pace than others or with their foot slightly inwards/outwards. If we compare
how the denizens of New York City to someplace like Paris, the modes of walking will be
different. Most importantly, how we walk and the posture of that gives off an aura or a vibe
sotospeak. This aura is what or how you appear in front of your society and your environment.
We can look at a person who walks with a hunched back and decide that he is not a confident
person etc. I would say that walking is style of Art as well because of how sophisticated and
different it can be.
