The importance of the use of geometry for this project is the combination between different solids and thus enable the object has a harmonious and dreamy style. I used hexahedron, tetrahedron, and octahedron in my project.
I used the cube to represent the topic of magic box that every little girl dreamed to have when they were little. Also, the cube material is stardust acrylic board, which have a shiny effect under light and thus give a sense of obsecure and blurry effect. I used the octahedron to represent the crystal diamond hidden inside of the box, which means treasure and preciousness of time, since diamond stays unchanged, so it means that some part of a girl’s heart never grows up as time goes by. Then I used silver tube to create tetrahedron so there is a connection between octahedron and hexahedron. It represent a complicated emotion and feeling of a girl’s heart, that protects the girl’s heart. I intend to make the object peaceful and quiet style, so I carefully chose my material, which are all white and silver.
