Psychogeographic Map
For my Psychographic Map I chose the neighborhood of Midtown Manhattan. In my exploration of the neighborhood, I was most struck by the neighborhood’s tourist appeal and the many attractions within the neighborhood that really drew tourists in. In my map I chose to emphasize those locations in which tourists were most drawn. I used images of the attractions to give the viewer a sense of what the attractions are like and to create a psychogeographic experience in viewing the map.
