Mood board:

My collection is inspired by calligraphy and culture of old Shanghai in 20th century. I choose some specific object form the moodboard to start my design such as the rice paper, bamboo brush roll and brushes. I choose the color black and white and red to represent calligraphy. I choose mostly silk and linen to give the viewer a feeling of nature and elegant. The background of my final piece is the Shikumen, the traditional architecture in Shanghai in 20th century.
