Kimmy’s site for Bridge 4 is to Grand Central terminal, and her idea is to make a series of earrings relate to her inspiration drew from the architecture of Grand Central Terminal.

For Kimmy, since she is making fashion accessories, it is difficult to connect the classical architecture style to fashion.

 

 

3. How does the material relate to his/her ideas?

Kimmy used gold wires to for her design of shapes. The gold wires represents the metal materials used in the architecture at Grand Central, and she mentions that she sees a lot of color gold.

 

 

4. Interviewer’s opinion of the Rough Draft so far (what works? what needs more work?):

I like her idea using plastics and the gold, it is a unique combination.
