Henri Matisse: Woman with a Hat

For me, an international student who is majoring in strategic design and management, I’d like to approach this class by knowing and learning more about painting skills and history of art. I am a shy person but I want myself to change so I don’t want to be still a shy person in this class. I don’t want to hear mean criticisms because I will lose my confident. If our class’s atmosphere is positive and respectful, I believe I will have much more courage to speak out my thought. My college experience help me being a independent person because I am far away from home now and I have to deal with many things. Also I learned a lot last semester which can serve me for my following study. I will try my best to engage in every group project and critic my classmates’ works with respect. Every opinion is needed so I will try my best to speak out my opinion and thought instead of just keeping them in my mind.
