Studio Final; Movement Experiment

I chose to do a photoshoot that experiemnted with movement for my studio final! My intention was to have a mixutre of inanimate objects and humans as the subject, and create a finished collection of photographs after I experiemnted with the movement during the shoot. Unforutnaltey, my models didn’t show up, so I was left with a roomfull of inanimate objects such as ink, water, and fabric to experiment with myself. This turned out to be a happy mistake! Here are the contact sheets of some of my favorite shots;

I spent hours playing with the movement of each of these objects, and When I looked at the photos after the shoot, I noticed a ton of similarities between the frozen movement shots of each of the objects! I started editing and playing around with combining similar shapes of different objects into the same picture. My final pieces are a visual exploration of my experiments with movement, and the similar shapes of different objects that this experiment produced!
