Progressing time distorion in an emotional city

 Exploration on Emotion

Idea 1: GameStop

I’ve always loved playing games, but from where I came from, Hong Kong, pressure on education and employment is so high that you can rarely see any game stores, or stalls on the main streets. When I first saw GameStop in New York, I was really excited as I’ve never been to one, nor have I ever visited a game shop this big. So, I’ve taken a few photos trying to express the excitement within me, from walking, discovering, running and moving in.

Idea 2: Refrigerator

Every home has a place to store food, and that would mean the refrigerator for many of us. Back in home town, my refrigerator is always filled with food and drinks, so when I opened the fridge in my suite I was also expecting the same thing. However, soon enough, I realise that there were no food in the fridge. I wanted to portray the change of emotion from excitement to curiosity to disappointment, specifically with the hand gestures.
