Feedback from Tess:

Hey Lady,

You did a gorgeous job on the book. The photos and the captions mix well together and I feel that it has a good flow. The only thing I would suggest changing would be to condense the end text a bit. See if you can make the questions a little more personal. Some of the questions are about ‘someone,’- I think it might work a little better if they were all about ‘I’ ex: ‘Why do women like to receive flowers?’ could be ‘Why do I like to receive flowers?’ One other thing would be to let some of the pages stand alone. Some pages work well side by side like the ‘Who am I to others?’ page and the “Do they know me well enough?’ page, but some I think would be better without the distraction of a facing page like the ‘Do I even know myself?’ page and the ‘Can one find pure happiness?’ page. Over all, very nice job!

Response to feedback:

I absolutely agree with condensing the end text, as I was having trouble resizing it and fitting it on one page. After looking through other books I learnt that sometimes less is more — a page consisting few questions can be more powerful than a wall of text. I will also try to alter the style of the end text a bit so that it becomes more personal and subjective. The suggestion on spacing and different pages seems interesting as well, definitely worth trying.

The feedback was really helpful and made me think of aspects that I never came across when working on this project.
