The reason I chose them is that they are both historical places which remain for decades. They were there, watching all the people, events, even the whole rapidly changing world, in a indifferent attitude. (For the Central Park, I chose a picture of the statue located at the enter of the park in order to strengthen this concept, because statue is ‘watching’ people everyday.) In my opinion, they are the ‘witness’ of time. Also, they are different because Times Square is a busy, crowded site while the Central park is a quiet and placid place.
