First Idea Buddha Beads
1.what: Buddha beads bring people peace.
Meditation
Mantra Recitation
2.how: A Installation using wire to make the outside structure and make different sizes beads have them install them on the wire circle structure. Also One Stand. It like a a galaxy too. I will have different color strings let people connect each beads randomly. After the presentation the project will be finished.
3.why: I think Buddha beads can always bring people peace, and at least calm people down from busy lives.
Questions: Do you need to use the buddha beads as a form in order to acheive the feeling you want us to have? Not everyone comes from a buddhist tradition, And so we will have different and possibly incorrect interpretations. How can you create a work that shares the impact of these rituals and beliefs? How do art and design based practices act to better peoples lives in a way that the beads do? What is the relationship between activities like this and therapy?

Will you use anything else besides the beads to convey the feelings from this tradition? Video? Sound? What can the beads be paired with?
How will the observers interact with the piece? Will there be any sound or special lighting?
I really loved this idea, what is the aim with the beads- will they all have words, how will people choose? How many people can thread at once?
How can you use the idea of space to enhance the theme?
Will everyone be connecting beads all at once (or will there be small groups)? How will you present instructions regarding how to string the beads?
