bridge2: wearable piece

The art I selected from the Brooklyn Museum is JamianJuliano’s “Three Penny Opera”. My research question is about fast fashion, so when I see this art it impresses me. You can see the artist put the pop-art and art history together, and the “Madole ” it is walking on the runway but carry the plastic bag and paper bag, but when every time we watch a runway show it is really fancy and beautiful we don’t think about the environment. So from this art makes me think how the fast fashion effect with the environment? Do we have access to all of the information to know how it affects the environment? So I decided to use fast fashion brand clothes to be material.

This is the pieces I choose from fast fashion brand, This cloth I am not longer to wear it.

This is the picture I working.

This is the final piece look like, I change the shirt to be a woman top. As you can see the right said I put a lot of receipts and a plastic bag having a lot of leftover material in the side I want to show that every time you buy a lot of clothes from the store you usually get along receipt do you remember where you put it? And the right side I made some decorate but everything I used is leftover material.
