Learning portfolio post 3

The main theme emerged in my dress practice log would mostly likely to be feminine and expressive. I would not have noticed that the way I dress represent my subconscious activities if I did not analyze what I did at the moment affect how I dressed. Apparently, I prefer to have an intimate relationship between my clothes and body. Close-fitting clothes allow me to show what I believe to be my strength. Vice versa, loose fitting clothes makes me feel what I consider to be more ordinary. The clothes I wear at the moment reflects my confidence level. I understand that why people are willing to spend a big portion of their income on clothes because it is more visual and intuitional. It is way easier to obtain rather than a car or a property. More frankly speaking, clothes and accessories are both tools to know where we fit in and meanwhile stand out. Knowing certain clothes or wearing clothing allow us to recognize more discriminations between individuals. Dressing up deliberately also remind oneself to have a more conscientious lifestyle. When wearing more delicate clothes one tends to self-respect more and respect others. For example, we would most likely to watch the way we speak, sit or walk when we think we are wearing the nicer clothes we own. We behave in the front of others because we subconsciously think they expect us to behave this way in such clothing.
