Who Shot Alice Neel?

This portrait of Andy Warhol is a recreation of Alice Neel’s Andy Warhol. I created a trap in the sense of wanting to have Neel be trapped in her gaze while staring at the piece. I originally wanted the piece to spark her emotions of seeing gunshot wounds and relate to her children, as nobody would want their children to be hurt. It can also relate to her artwork being her children, or anger Neel that someone tried to recreate her own piece.
