For this project, we had a choice of working in pairs or alone. My partner Jack and I chose to use inspiration from Armadillo skin and used the specific aspects of the geometry the skin has to create our chain. The chain incorporates the three/ four basic shapes and creates the similar, hard texture the skin has. Our accessory- the ring, also has a similar pattern of the triangular shape on the sides to give texture. Our garment is a simple shirt that hugs the body’s natural shape. This assignment pushed my abilities with Rhino and challenged my patience along with problem solving techniques.
