Assignment
We drew orthographic projection views (as we learned in class) for each of the following 3 isometric views from a class handout. We were to show all of our construction lines (as dotted lines or light pencil marks), as well as the dimensions.
For the second part, we had to physically construct the object from page 13 of the handout. We were to use cardboard and mechanical connectors.

Reflection
With the orthographic projections, again, I felt as though they were tedious. They took many more hours than I had expected. However, it was clear that I was improving, as each consecutive ones looks cleaner and better than the last. I had a lot of fun with the second phase though. River and I decided that we would laser cut the pieces out because they would be more precise. Also, we just thought it would be more fun and interesting to laser cut than to do it by hand. I sewed mine together based on what I learned at the extra credit sewing workshop. I tried to use a decorative whip stitch to attach the pieces, but I was running out of thread very fast so I simplified my stitching technique. The result is not as stable as I would like, but otherwise I think it came out well.
