My Interest Areas

As of Fall 2018, the following is what I plan to do after I graduate from Parsons School of Design in 2020.
I have written my interest area in the form of a Q/A.

What do you want to do after you graduate?

I want to work towards digitizing the pharma sector.

How do you plan to achieve what you want to do?

I want to start by creating interactions to explain the mechanism of action of medicines. I would focus on accessibility in my design practice.

What tools do you plan to use/ are interested in exploring?

I want to use animation, 3D, and XR (Extended Reality) to create my interactions. I want to create a blockchain framework for authenticating the information presented in the interactions.

Why do you want to do it?

We have a pharmaceutical industry in India. With my interest in design and technology, I want to grow the pharma sector digitally.

I am interested in it because I want users to make an informed decision when they use medicine. I want to create a transparent system through blockchain and an engaging interaction through technology so that this sector evolves from its current state.

I believe there are better ways to tell the story so that it clicks. The proliferation of data today needs structure and authenticity. I want to bring that to the pharma sector.

What have other people done in the domain you are interested in?

Companies like Xvivo, Polygon Medical, AXS Studio are working in the medical animation area.
Companies like BlockRx and MediLedger are working on tracking pharma medicines from manufacturer to the consumer using blockchain to prevent the proliferation of fake drugs.
