I was interested in continuing a sequence that was clean and simple. I wasn’t necessarily interested in creating a narrative, but I was more drawn to the idea of creating a series that created a cohesive atmosphere. I used sound that “matched” the motion of the video to add texture to the video.
This is the instrument I created for this project. I wanted to recycle materials I had used in a previous class. I glued the bowls together and created a shaker by enclosing some yogurt covered raisons.
The “Understanding Comics” book has helped me visualize several ways to create transitions, and better understand why certain transitions tell a different story. This has helped me create something precise and the way I wanted it to turn out.
