This is when I was making the patterns and cutting the fabrics
We punched the wholes on the each patterns after we finished sewing.
I put the screw and bolt to connect the fabrics together.

Project Title: A conch
1. What is the wearable form? (garment – torso-oriented) and what does this transform into? (bag/table/etc.)
It’s a poncho/ cape and it turns into an outdoor mat.
2. What is the intended function of this SHARED SPACE?This is an outdoor mat that two people can sit on.
4. Where is the Fibonacci sequence in the design and how did using the forms change your project? The Fibonacci sequence was applied on the patterns themselves. The ratio of the Fibonacci sequence had to big of a difference between each patterns so the final piece did not turn out how it supposed to turn out.
5. What materials were used and what was repurposed?
I used kite materials.
6. How much did your project cost and how many hours did you spend making it?I spent about 40 dollars and we spent about 20 hours.
7. What was your original garment or object /inspiration and how did drawing and pattern-making help with the process?
My original garment was plastic pic and I figured out that kite material would work better for the waterproof.
8. What changed about your design? The width and the length of the pattern have been changed due to the Fibonacci sequence.
9. What did you learn about materials and how they can be used, or how they connect to each other?I learned that kite materials are water proof and they are good for outdoor purpose. We mostly used velcro and screws, bolts, and wing nuts to connect to each other.
10. What was the most enjoyable part of the project? The most enjoyable part was sewing.
11. What was the most challenging part? Sewing was the most challenging part and enjoyable part at the same time. The curved edges of the patterns were kind of hard to sew.
12. What are you most satisfied with?I was satisfied with the hem stitches.
13. What did you learn about yourself through this project? I learned that Fibonacci sequence is applied everywhere.
