Material Connexion Trip

The Material Connexion Museum is an exhibit focused on new and creative ways to make new materials. I was interested in the Layered and pliable metal piece. I was interested in studying those materials more closely because using two types of metals to create movement amazed me. The metal was hard in some places and pliable in others.

1&2= thin paper layers

2&3= organic objects incorporated

3&4= harder paper having to do with water. one is made with it, the other resists.

4&5= layered on paper

5&6= texture

6&7= pliable


8&9= fusing and layering brought together to make one piece
